Keheliya’s golden but stinking bullshit, and answers the media did not have

Topic – Minister Maithripala’s son assaulting DIG’s son

Keheliya : Boys fight on the beach. That happens everywhere . Not only in Pasekuda beach , even in Galkissa beach that happens. That is common. The victim goes to hospital. The assailant is taken to police. That is as simple as that.

Media : In an incident while the victim is in hospital in a critical condition , bail cannot be granted to the assailant, . yet Maithripala ‘s son was released on bail.

Keheliya : You are arguing on the granting of bail. Why can’t bail be granted? I have witnessed so many such instances . When somebody wants to get a person remanded , the former enters ICU .

Media : If a son of a Minister behaves better and more decently in a civilized way , such issues will not crop up?

Keheliya : A good question any way. Just because he is a son of a Minister , can he just wait if he is attacked by somebody when he travels on the road. Are you telling him to look the other way and go ? The sons of politicians should also have boyhood qualities. Didn’t you, who is questioning me have boyish qualities when you were young ?

My father is not a Minister. Of course in our young days we had boyhood qualities, but we did not have murderous , marauding and rowdy qualities. We also bathed in the sea , but we did not stand nude before ladies and take their photographs. We also played cricket. But we did not get a Russian harlot to the room of the Hotel we stayed . After growing in years now , we did not try to behave like ‘boys’ trying to creep into others’ rooms in the Hotel or commit trespass in the dead of night , and thereby break our legs falling down.
